Today a customer called me with the problem of Sage reports window fails to load with error “specified report path is invalid”.
Seems that they had recently moved their Sage Company data and it broke the reports section.
I fixed it by changing the c:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\Sage.ini file.
The line UseDataPathForReports=0 should read UseDataPathForReports=1
Reloaded Sage and the reports functioned.
I’ve seen on other forums that the option might also be in the Sage GUI under:
Settings>Company Preferences>Reporting
thank you so much for that. It’s be driving me for days and didn’t want to call Sage and risk an uninstall and other options.
Thank you for the thanks :)
hehehe.. thanks for this tip.
works as charming. :)
Yes you can go Settings/Configuration and under reporting untick use the data path for reporting.
